This presentation argues that blogging emerges as a new research琀漀漀氀 昀漀爀 琀栀攀 漀渀攀猀 挀漀渀搀甀挀琀椀渀最 攀琀栀渀漀最爀愀瀀栀椀挀 昀椀攀氀搀眀漀爀欀⸀ 䴀漀爀攀漀瘀攀爀Ⰰ 䤀 愀爀最甀攀 琀栀爀漀甀最栀漀甀琀 洀礀 瀀愀瀀攀爀 琀栀愀琀 渀攀眀 洀攀搀椀愀 眀椀琀栀 愀 瀀愀爀琀椀挀甀氀愀爀 攀洀瀀栀愀猀椀猀 椀渀 戀氀漀最最椀渀最will have even larger consequences for the discipline of anthropology. In order to substantiate my main argument I focus on these issues:
a)䈀氀漀最最椀渀最 洀椀最栀琀 戀攀 愀 爀攀洀攀搀礀 琀漀 琀栀攀 愀渀砀椀攀琀礀 漀昀 戀攀椀渀最 椀渀 ✀愀昀琀攀爀 琀栀攀 昀愀挀琀✀ 琀栀愀琀 椀猀 猀栀愀爀攀搀 戀礀 洀愀渀礀 愀渀琀栀爀漀瀀漀氀漀最椀猀琀猀⸀ 䈀氀漀最最椀渀最 琀愀欀攀猀 瀀氀愀挀攀 椀渀 琀栀攀present tense while actively engaging with 'the fact';
b) blogging brings immediate feedback
c) not only from the limited scholarly circles but from愀 眀椀搀攀爀 瀀甀戀氀椀挀⼀愀甀搀椀攀渀挀攀㰀戀爀㸀 搀⤀ 眀栀椀挀栀 攀砀瀀漀猀攀猀 琀栀攀 攀琀栀渀漀最爀愀瀀栀攀爀 琀漀 愀 洀甀挀栀 洀漀爀攀 攀昀昀攀挀琀椀瘀攀 椀猀猀甀攀 漀昀 愀挀挀漀甀渀琀愀戀椀氀椀琀礀⸀ 㰀戀爀㸀䴀漀爀攀漀瘀攀爀Ⰰ 攀⤀ 戀氀漀最最椀渀最 甀爀最攀猀 琀漀 猀攀攀motives in a more regular sense, thus creates a strong sense of regularity
f) that forces the ethnographer to produce on a regular basis
g) with a挀漀渀猀琀愀渀琀 愀瀀瀀攀愀氀 琀漀 渀愀爀爀愀琀攀 眀栀愀琀 眀漀甀氀搀 渀漀爀洀愀氀氀礀 爀攀洀愀椀渀 昀爀愀最洀攀渀琀猀 漀昀 昀椀攀氀搀渀漀琀攀猀⸀ 䤀渀 愀搀搀椀琀椀漀渀 琀漀 搀攀瀀攀渀搀椀渀最 漀渀 猀挀栀漀氀愀爀氀礀 猀漀甀爀挀攀猀 漀昀 椀渀琀攀爀攀猀琀Ⰰ 琀栀椀猀 瀀愀瀀攀爀exploits the presenter’s own experience of blogging during his fieldwork.㰀⼀昀漀渀琀㸀㰀⼀瀀㸀
